 I made a video about the relationship between growth and dependence. My concept is the dependence of childhood from anything who can support you and women will rely on themselves when they grow up. As time goes by, women are becoming less and less dependent on other things or someone who can support them. I want to compare this phenomenon between childhood and growing up. The reason why I want to do this topic is because we will be hurt in the process of growing up. There are a lot of dangers including things you can't handle, and some problems you can't solve in your childhood. we will seek a kind of help or pinning when you feel hopeless and also these things can be your dependence. But when you really grow up, you can rely on yourself to solve problems and face some troubles. In my work, I use stilts to metaphorize my childhood dependence. On the ground full of nails, even if I wear shoes, I dare not walk on it. I can only rely on stilts that can protect myself to walk. And the high heels that appear in the video metaphorize my present. I am not afraid of danger and injury in high heels, and I keep moving forward. High-heeled shoes are actually a symbol of female growth for most people, and more meanings are women's power. Why I choose stilts to be the symbol of my childhood is because of my personal experience, my grandfather sent me one stilts when I was twelve years old. And my grandfather always helped me a lot when I was a child, so I want to use the stilts to present my childhood. Finally, I chose the bell as my background music，because I want to highlight time. This work is about growth. I use the bell to highlight the change of time.
